Great answers Carrie and Danielle. Both lead me to deeper thinking and yes I would say both are sacred to me too. But when I clicked on to answer this question I would have to say that my time is sacred to me.
Time to think, time to daydream, to look at how my garden is growing, time to love and laugh with my family, moments spent with my friends, time to read a good book, time to sit and read your inspirations!!!

I find that I am sacred to me. It has taken me a long time to reach this point and it is still a struggle, because I love to help and take care of other people. This passion has led to me being taken advantage of and I have had a few one way relationships. That has been my lesson, to be strong enough to put myself in focus and love my self the way I love others. Nature and children is sacred to me as well . As I see it, they go hand in hand. We have to take care of our surroundings to leave the planet a better place for the new generations.

Silence. Chaotic atmospheres, noise, chatter, tangents, distractions, to-do-lists... everything in the world is too fast-paced and noisy. I need silent moments, free from anxiety and chatter. There's nothing like a moment alone, by myself, when I'm right there in the moment and not thinking or feeling about something else.

The way my husband makes me feel....with a look or a touch, he knows what is perfect for me. The sacred part is knowing, that after 13 years of marriage, and 3 children, that I have something that will last forever.

Silence... my time.... those quiet moments where there is a song that touches you, brings out a memory, an emotion. A glass of wine sitting on the patio in the moonlight... just the silence while I unwind take a few moments to breathe, recover and remember how much I am worth....
I cherish the few quiet moments....im a single mom with a business to run... silence doesnt happen often

Hurricanes and Tropical Storms take days to come - so you usually have days and days to prepare. If the storm is bad, you have lots of time to leave.

Excellent question as I find it reinforces my convictions. I wanted to give this serious thought and, while many of the answers given here, resonate with me, as well, I would have to say my Personal Space is most sacred to me. That's two-fold.

Firstly, as someone who experienced physical abuse as a child, my Personal Space is very sacred. I have a lot of boundary issues and I don't always make good choices, however, they're my choices to make. Don't enter my Personal Space without having first been invited.

Secondly, and closely tied with the first, the Peace & Quiet, Safety & Security of my home is definitely sacred to me. It's my sanctuary and where I take respite from the world.

Other than my family, which is naturally sacred in my mind. My marriage, as well as marriage in general. We have been through so much, good and bad, and only love each other more for it. It will always amaze me that love can grow stronger with hard times.
And Danielle, I thought I was the only one. I'll forever be looking for a GOOD match at scrabble. I would love to know how you are implementing this with your son. Words were just always a deep desire for me.

Oh, lots of great answers as usual. I agreed with most and had to think about what I choose and it came to me very clearly. I was going to say that it's my home, which I love returning to no matter where I go in the world, but then I realized as I've grown into the last third of my life.. it's my health. Doing what is good for my body also feeds my soul as it heals and gives me confidence. I've taken a long time to learn to love my body again.

My alone time is sacred for me. I am an acupuncturist and I see and work with approximately 12 people's energies every day and I have a six year old so my time to myself is vital. Whether it is being a couch potato, organizing my home or running on the beach with my ipod, I try to recognize the need to replenish my energy by being with myself and my thoughts.
