I would love to be a master of my own style, so I know without hesitation that what I own and wear do not detract in any way from me being the best I can be. I would also love to be a master of languages. Others choose art as a means of communicating but if I could speak french, dutch/german, russian, and mandarine I would love it.

Luckily, mastery of these desires is achievable effort on my part. The rest of the languages I would then have the fundamentals for.

I think I just found my new year's resolution for 2009

I would like to be a master of fashion. I would like to have mastered my look and my closet so everything I wear matches my style, makes me look damn good and makes me feel confident. If I were mater of fashion, I would make real-sized women masters of the fashion world. No more size 0 to 2 being the fashion ideals used to model looks. The world would value and embrace the sexiness of voluptuous women.

I'm always striving for excellence, mastery, and in all of the areas I'm interested in, I'm really quite ambitious (for lack of a better word!). Its difficult at times, so its nice to have a question that gives me a little refresher on what I actually want. Its not easy when the world is constantly telling me to do otherwise. Even people who care tell me to relax and stop aiming so high, that I don't need to do things the way that I do them. The truth is, I'm not happy unless I have a wonderful goal to strive towards, and diligence for me is just what I do.

I want to learn more and more about the universe: about science, art, music, dance and language. I'm not sure if one can actually master those things, but I'm aiming for it. I'd like to be a master of self-expression. More specific areas would be... waltz, or maybe even ballet, writing, learning and teaching, and costumes or traditional Japanese dress. Japanese culture and celebrations in general would be wonderful!

Any and all musical instruments. I would love to pick up anything that makes music and be able to play it with exquisite skill and emotional potency.

I would love to master the art of standing out in a crowd; to be spontaneously funny, smart and gracious all at the same time. Add to this a masterful leader and innovator, in just about eveyrthing that interests me!

Great question, my goal would be to be a master student! To be able to learn any and every skill efficiently and effectively. I'd apply my master student expertise to becoming a master African dancer, a master scholar, and a master martial artist.

I would like to be a master of negotiation/conflict resolution/mediation. I want peace in the world! And my son (12) just said that he'd like to be a master of the weather so that it would be a little warmer here and he could go skiing :)

While one never masters yoga, I would like to know enough to help myself and others find balance. I would also like to master cooking, knitting and gardening so I can give pleasure, warmth and beauty.

I'd like to be a master of portrait and landscape photography... with a little painting mixed in for a spark. To capture people in all their glory would be a dream.

Color! I want to be part of the Color Marketing Group, meeting in high secrecy to decide what colors everyone will be surrounded by 4-5 years in the future...
Oh, and according to a psychological test I took a few years ago, I'm perfectly balanced between extrovert and introvert - I love to work by myself, then tell everyone about it!

Ditto Carrie, except that I am an extroverted introvert. Would love to not only be able to be a master painter, but also to have a depth of knowledge about art history.
