    Oh this is an easy one! I would like to win an Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay. I have been practising the speech for many years, I also already bought the dress, a John Galliano simple-and-stylish black number, even though I will need a boob job to ensure I can go bra-less as the dress commands. I'll book the appointment once I get the nomination.

    The one and in fact the only one that matters would be after I had died to be told I had been fully and completely me and that the world was a better place because of that fact.

    I would be weraring a low cut coral pink top, coral pink lippy that matched, a long aqua crushed velvet coat with a shawl collar, elegant loose cut evening trousers in donkey brown, very high heeled boots in donkey brown, a clutch evening purse in a soft gold color. Rings:1 aquamarine stone 2 SSring 3 wedding ring, large pearl earrings and a long pearl necklace that hung low nearly to the neckline of the top.
    I would be trailing in the air behind me some Yosh Yan perfume smelling of jasmine, violets, lily of the valley, lilac and roses and a rare wood that I don't know the name of yet.
    I hope Kat the Drumming Diva would be there to seranade me as I recieved the prize. something with a smoky rhythm that told everyone in the room there was going to be a good party to celebrate. .

    i want the best aunt award, too! only mine would say 'auntie kakkie' as my little niece bridgie calls me.

    on weekends, kat the drumming diva transforms into ... auntie kakkie!
    i smother my niece and nephews with love love love,
    whether they want it or not. i'm stronger.
    and then we play and play and play.

    The Rome Prize! I would want to be awarded a prize that puts me with other thinkers and doers and see what we come up with individually and collectively.

    The American Academy in Rome is a center that sustains independent artistic pursuits and humanistic studies. The Rome Prize is awarded to 15 emerging artists and 15 scholars. The Rome Prize winners, a core residential community of up to 100 people at any given time, are at the center of a multi-disciplinary environment, where artists and scholars are encouraged to work collegially within and across disciplines.

    Would love to win a world championship buckle in barrel racing and pole bending!!! My horse has a champion's mind.....although her heart is where it's all at! I visited the Kentucky horse park where I noticed a wonderful phrase..."Thou shalt fly without wings".
    I'm hoping to do just that!!!

    Best Employer in Canada - Entrepreneur of the Year - Mayor of Mississauga - and the Gazells Car Rally across the deserts of Morocco (This is the ultimate award - finishing the race with my girls...I'll be 55 and my girls will be 23 and 18...and this will be in 17 years, but oh so worth the wait!)

    Oh yes, very easy. The Pulitzer Prize for Poetry, and the Nobel for Literature would not be too shabby either.

    Though in my alternate life in which I took the scientific path, I would have wanted the Nobel in Physics.

    My first time to comment here, and I just wanted to say thanks for such a lovely pop of daily inspiration and opportunity to reflect.

    Well, when I'm 70, I'd like to be talking about what it takes to overcoming fear and living your dreams to1,000 people! I've had the opportunity already (4 people...hey it's a start) and will be doing it again hopefully to more than 4, but that's okay, as long as I'm take that step towards my goal. I think it's important to hear that fear is usually the beginning of dreams coming true.

    I think it would be fun to win something for which someone else secretly nominated me. I've competed for awards before, and perhaps even won a couple, and there was a sense of anticipation attached to the experience, which is all well and good, but maybe a different way would be fun.

    Does your face light up when your daughter enters the room? If not, that's a good place to start. I wish someone had told me that when I had the chance to make it one my daughters memories of childhood.

    Oh I would have to say a TED award too....for what I have yet to know but I love watching those podcasts. Also any sort of Humanitarian award or Entrepreneur award would make pretty darn proud.

    Since we're dreaming here, I would be honored to receive the Order Of Canada for contributing to and fostering Canadian culture, nurturing new talent and helping to further establish Canada as a world player when it comes to the arts.

    And for the fireplace mantle...I would also like to have an oscar for best lead actress in a foreign film (my feature indy Canadian) and a best screenplay oscar - why not? Make it an efficient night: two birds with one stone.

    Believe it or not I was actually nominated for a Governor General's Award for my MA thesis back in 1999. That would have been nice to win, but I think I got booted out very early in the selection process!

    I'd like to win Miss Canada, specifically for the bathing suit competition (snort, chuckle). Kidding.

    Interestingly, I can't think of an award - which is kind of pathetic. The idea of it also sort of freaks me out - the limelight frightens me just a tad. I swear, these daily Q&A's are a never-ending source of illumination for me...so very, very interesting.

    I would like to identify a compelling need in my community and find such a creative way to rally people around the cause that it would make such a positive impact that I would win a Volunteer of the Year Award. Knowing that I had made a positive change in the lives of others would be enough reward in itself, but the recognition would feel warm and the knowledge that my example was being used to inspire other people to do good would be the icing on the cake.
