Don't search for answers, which could not be given to you now, because you would not be able to live them. And the point is to live everything. Live the questions now. Perhaps then, someday far in the future, you will gradually, without even noticing it, live your way into the answer..." ~Rainer Maria Rilke

Re: What’s your favourite inspirational quote?

From Abraham-Hicks: "Make a "career" of living a happy life rather than trying to find work that will produce enough income that you can do things with your money that will then make you happy."

Re: What’s your favourite inspirational quote?

The lyrics to the song Forever Young, particularly the lines:

May you grow up to be righteous,
May you grow up to be true,
May you always know the truth
And see the lights surrounding you.
May you always be courageous,
Stand upright and be strong,
May you stay forever young.

Re: What’s your favourite inspirational quote?

"I saw an angel in the stone, I carved, to set it free."
Michelangelo

Re: What’s your favourite inspirational quote?

"Finish every day and be done with it...You have done what you could; some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. The guru-devotee relationship isn't one that works for me, so I didn't invest much energy into tuning into the nasty or glorious stuff around him. But I am curious about many, many teachers, and he was one on my path...a literal path of teachers in India that I checked out.

Re: What’s your favourite inspirational quote?

Jeez... frankly, I had never looked up Sai Baba. While I do love the quote - and believe it is rightful - I am horrified at what I found by a simple google search of his name. Maybe there is more than one Sai Baba - but my initial searches reveal a man that should not be celebrated for his guidance. I am so very curious about the "trip" the ashram experience was in light of my new learnings. And how you felt to learn the awful stories. Not that this is inspirational in any way...
