Carrie and Danielle: What’s your Business Intention? GreenPan and Paul Newman have got it right.

Paul is a hero of mine. 100% of their post-tax profits go to charity. His daughter, Nell, is running Newman's Own. So inspiring.

For a summer holiday one year, I volunteered at the Hole in the Wall Gang Camp in Ashford Conneticut founded by Paul Newman (and funded by the profits of his signature products). The camps provide kids who have life-threatening blood related disorders with an opportunity to experience the outdoors and make friendships outside of hospitals. That experience cemented Paul Newman as a truly inspirational human being for me, and changed my notion of the power of celebrity.

I found your site through Patti Digh and I'm adding you to my blogroll. My business intention is to give aspiring young writers (ages 13-17) the opportunity to publish their material. Whitney Houston got it right: Children really are the future. And they're always going to have a story to tell (whether it's their own or the one they create in their head). I want them to be seen AND heard.

My business intention is to also leave the smallest footprint possible when I publish. Books are printed on acid free virgin paper; promo materials on 30% post consumer recycled paper.
