Lots of changes in my life have brought to mind the possibility that all the "I don't knows" I habitually say are covering up for the fact that somewhere, somehow I do know something but my habit of saying that is gauze... mummifying it. I also thought that I should make tally marks (on my arm with Sharpie? maybe a bit harsh and not-so-stylish, but ever-present!) each time I say the blasted phrase.
