Weight loss seems to have as much to do with when you eat what as with how much you eat in total. In other words if you eat a big breakfast you have lots of time to work off the calories during the day which you probably do not have with a big dinner in the evening. I tried a lot of diets programs without success till I found this out by accident.

Re: Soul Food: An unexpected weight loss tip

Some great tips and definitely some things to try out.

Re: Soul Food: An unexpected weight loss tip

I can vouch for point 2 eating in reverse has been beneficial for me especially if you choose a low-fat, slow release food like an oat based cereal.

Love the post

Re: Soul Food: An unexpected weight loss tip

Another great thing to do is try acai berries for weight loss. I do agree with you on eating while watching TV, I don't know how many kilos of food goes inside. Making breakfast heavy and cutting back later is bit tough, as if I am engaged i am happy without food but at night when I am relaxed my stomach starts calling me!

Re: Soul Food: An unexpected weight loss tip

I am not sure where I have heard it before. The point eating in reverse. The problem with most diets is that we are overloaded with food for dinner. I guess this is just one of the ways to entertain guests during dinner. I mean, who would have guests early in the morning? This method will take some time to get used to. Then again, we don't have guests visiting all the time.
