Home manager... I like that. Thx to C&D for this discovery. I too am at home, with a toddler and hoping to grow our family. I'm slowly connecting with other mamas whose core focus is the care of their kids, homes and family. I've always wanted this yet at am surprised at how slowly I'm sinking into it my role and really loving it for the special time in life it is and how fabulous it is that I'm living it. Perhaps it has to do with getting on the MamaTrain (ooooo, I like that too) a little later in life. Thanks for the inspiration Tsh. I'll be checking our your site some more and am going to create an inspiration board!

i've been reading Simple Mom for a few months now, and I have to say that I love this interview! definitely puts a new spin on a lot of what's written on her website, but more by adding to it than making it look different.

we need more women like this in the world.

Simple Mom (the blog and the person!) are an inspiration to me; the site is beautiful and the information is helpful - what more could you ask?

Thanks to SM's Daily Docket, I came up with a daily planning tool to help me manage my household, work and blog responsibilities and it's working!

This was a fun interview - thanks!

I think there's a place for everything and everything in moderation. Sometimes (like cooking, for example) you have to multi-task or you'd never get the job finished. Other times (like talking to your partner, for example) it's extremely important to focus on only one thing. I think the trick in our society is to take a step back and re-evaluate our core values and then build around that to decide how to run our lives and then be flexible but stick to the main thing.
