Meghan and I met him a few years ago, just before Athens. It's been wonderful to follow his pursuit of this big audacious goal .... the Olympics. You are so right, there is so much we can learn from the journey of athletes in their pursuit of excellence and realizing the kind of support needed to make it a reality is a big part of the magic. Meg was home for a few days so we stayed up waaay to late last night to watch the race. I don't know about you but we pretty well did our own little triathlon in the living room. Sitting still was not an option!
