Bread has been a part of our meals right from our forefather's tables. And there's so much more to it than just plain food, just as what this video professed. Very nice!

Re: (Re)Discovering the Beauty of Bread

Bread is the staff of life..it looks great too !
Dr.David Black
www.blackchiropractic.com.au

Re: (Re)Discovering the Beauty of Bread

high speed mix can make it softer dont forget about bread ragi

Re: (Re)Discovering the Beauty of Bread

I think there is also one in Steveston! Another renegade Eastern European man making his fabulous bread in a wood oven. Lucky us!

Re: (Re)Discovering the Beauty of Bread

I once met a chap who gave me a business card. His job title? "Consultant Baker". Isn't that the coolest job title ever?

And, as it happens, it turns out there's an article about the day I met Dan Lepard, Consultant Baker.

Re: (Re)Discovering the Beauty of Bread

I'm a passionate defender of carbs, and in fact I think the no carbs fad is complete nonsense. The reason Europeans have lower rates of obesity is simply because they eat less and walk more.

Re: (Re)Discovering the Beauty of Bread

I think this guy used to be in Steveston..? I remember my dad found a place there just like this and was so happy about it...my dad, a 70 year old european who made sure bread was ALWAYS on the table at lunch and dinner - and somehow never had to watch his carbs, hmmm. Makes me so happy to see this guy doing his thing - glad you found him!
N

Re: (Re)Discovering the Beauty of Bread

pass the butter!
