I would like to write about overcoming fears and personal insecurities - how to avoid falling into the "wanna be loved by all" trap and being happy with what you have. If I could find the answers to all this - I'd write the book!

if I could write one book, it would be a novel about a rip-roaring woman who comes unhinged. It would be comedic but would have a sweet and endearing core.

I'm very overdue in starting work on a book about my Grandfather's life. So, that has to be at the top of my list.

Like Daniel, I have several books in me. One is based on my my mother's life, a story that should be told. Before she passed away, I tried to get as much detail as possible but she had great difficulty with time lines, so I will have to embellish and make certain assumptions, but the 'main events' will stand on their own regardless.

I also will write about my own childhood - a fearful, abused child who knew she would do something important some day. And, there's a play in me, a children's story or three and a lot of essays. I just wish I knew why I procrastinate?

.I think I would have to write about my own life experience of living away from my family not only once, but twice to pursue my own truth and having the courage to believe in myself and our love for one another to know that we would be stronger for it. Many years later my three grown daughters are amazingly independent, confident and self sufficient....they thank me for setting an example. My husband and I have never been closer and our relationship continues to grow stronger. When I made those moves when the family was young I rattled a lot of chains and it was not easy to go against cultural expectations ....it turned out to be one mind bending, love intensifying adventure!

IF I only could write one book, I would be sad because I love to write books. But if I could only publish one, I might choose Extreme Teacher Makeover, which encourages men and women in the teaching profession to take a three month block of time in their lives and restructure the way they take care of themselves. There are chapters on fitness, nutrition, wellness, beauty and style, scholarship, passion, and inspiration. Teachers have a tendency to exhaust themselves, and exert themselves for others until they have little left to give. This book is an antidote to the unique sort of bitterness that teachers and other caregivers can fall prey to in their lives looking after others.

What timing. I am sending in my proposal for The Acceptance Diet as we speak, which is a book about a "She" and her journey in giving up dieting, accepting herself and her relationship to food, and finding a joyful way to lose weight. It is a multi-chapter book in a rhyming poem format, with lighthearted black and white illustrations (think Shel Silverstein). Intended to be both playful and profound. A simple book that I am going to change the world with.

Like Danielle, that is one book of many that live within me. My next couple will be on being who you really are and what do do when real life comes knocking.

I've had books marinating in me since I was a child.

Short stories, glimpses of raw beautiful life.

A Harlequin Spice novel.

Children's books, one day, I've been letting those ideas simmer until their time has come.

And definitely, definitely, a gorgeous book sharing my own creative process, speaking to creative self expression and the gorgeous impact it has on your life. This one will be an inspiring, beautiful work book, with lots of fun and powerful exercises.

It has to be my life over the past two years - no matter what I do in my life now I know that these past two years have been of great importance in guiding me down the path my life is about to take. To everyone involved whether you are one of my family members, a cousin i opened up to whom i hadn't spoke to in 11 years, university lecturers, my internet friends, a stranger whom i had a conversation with on my travels - you have all played a part and for that I'm extremely grateful. I would love to write a book on how to live life to the fullest and how to get past the little stuff when you think it is the big stuff. I would like to dedicate it to my grandmother, my mother and my daughter. I would like every woman to know that life is short and every moment counts.

The play I am currently writing is about inspiration, madness, the creative process, self-acceptance, memory, and devils, with lots of dance and some puppets in there for good measure. These are some of my obsessions I suppose. Also working on a herbal about the spiritual, as well as physical, aspects of common plants. I would like to bridge the nature writing and creative writing together in my next project--- earth stories--- deep, true, and complex.

I would channel Ayn Rand, Gabriel Garcia Marquez and John Irving to write an epic novel which puts disovering and living our own truths in a story format, leaving readers feeling truly grateful for their lives and experiences, and appreciative of their own magic and the beauty of THIS moment. I've actually got two books in mind. The first came when I turned 40. I wanted to write down 40 life lessons to give to my daughters. The second one is that I believe there is a reason people become your friend. That they are they to teach you something. It may be something minor or a life altering message. Either way I wrote down what each of my friends has brought to my life and what did I learn only because of them. The title would be "Life Lessons from my Girlfriends."

Yes, Nancy!!! I feel you 100% I see this in some of my girlfriends. Some of the problem is their need of EXTERNAL LOVE & VALIDATION that they aren't getting from others- parents and/or themselves.....and INTERNAL LOVE / SELF-ESTEEM ISSUES....there is a missing link....and they are trying to fill it....with something...and sometimes anything....even it is destructive, abusive,.....because sometimes a substitute for love is better than nothing at all (to them).

And from personal experience it is really hard to be single & happy while seemingly everyone is telling you or asking you where is your man/ when are you getting married.....

The standards are different for a single 30yr old woman vs. a single 30yr old man....he's a bachelor....what is she?

I like that...Real Men don't see the Kids either...lol...My friends and I have similar conversations...about what to expect from men....and how they view relationships, committment, girlfriends and marriage...I'm single...but I still see it in my relationships just not on the same level.
