Wellllll....it's my 29th birthday tomorrow and I can't wait to celebrate! Being that I'm a sensual person to the core, celebrating usually means celebrating with all of my senses and soaking life in. Tonight I'm going to one of my favourite restaurants with my best girlfriends. I have been saving a Cloudy Bay Chardonnay for the occasion. It's one of the rarest wines to find. I've been hearing about it for years and have never seen a bottle until a couple weeks ago -it was the last bottle left. I can't wait to surprise them with it share it with them. Tomorrow, my Dad is taking me for one of my favourite meals - dim sum. It has been a long-standing tradition in our family. He introduced us to delicious har-gow, bbq pork steam buns, and other yummy morsels and dumplings from an early age and I still love it! Then I'm having a party on Saturday night. I'm going dancing at a great place that plays tons of oldies and you can't help but shake your groove thang! I'll spend my b-day soaking up the taste of great wine, the smells of wonderful food, the sounds of great tunes and friend's laughter, the feeling of rythm in my body, and the sight of all my favourite people!

Great question! For me, I will focus on having child-like fun. I feel like I've been depriving myself of fun, being too serious. I want to delight in the senses. Might even go snow-tubing.

I will be making Pizza from scratch. First I make the dough from unbleached flour and salt and virgin olive oil. I love how the dough feels in my hands, so warm, so gentle so full of love. Then I get the toppings ready, fresh cut onions, mushrooms sauteed in butter and finished in white wine, sliced jalapenos, diced green peppers, Hungarian salami and a mixture of stretch mozzarella, provolone and Parmesan. Also homemade tomato sauce with basil. Then dress bake and savour. Perfection.
