tomorrow I am going on a date with my sweetie to an "evening of inspiration" featuring people with autism performing in a variety show. It's a part of a big symposium on autism, and it is supposed to be very, well, inspiring! I think it will be great to have my hunny with me for this, too.

What a great day to ask this question! Tomorrow, I WON'T wake up beside my best friend in the whole world, as I usually do, because he'll be on a plane coming back from a business trip to Newfoundland.

BUT when he gets here mid-morning, he's taking a day of vacation time and squiring me into Halifax to visit the Business to Business Expo, and then to New Minas to look at some VERY expensive furniture that I think I'd like to have in the future.

We'll be together THE WHOLE DAY. These times always remind me of our honeymoon.

A trip to my chiropractor and one day further away from my break up of an 8 year relationship...so hopefully one step closer to healing and figuring out what I want out of life. I spent 8 years with a self-centered egotistical man and got swept up in the "fun".
Have known for a LONG time that is wasn't working for me but was hard to give up all the benefits that came with the relationship. All it took was discovering he was emailing and talking to another woman in another part of the state and planning to go dancing and who knows what with her this coming weekend. We've been through this all before...I've had a feeling he wasn't "that into me" and I've tried many times to let him get out easy and he would always say "no, I want to be with you!" No, I think what he really wanted was someone to have around until he cements a deal with someone else. I'm going to be fine. He was never good with my kids (really had nothing to do with them and believe me, I hate myself for getting involved in the first place because of that) so now I can focus on my two teens and try to be a good Mother. anyway, enough. Tomorrow will be a better day. sorry for rambling on. I really need to start a journal....

Tomorrow I am gonna finish the editing of this PhD chapter I am writing. This one in particular is about horror and comic books. Tomorrow is going to be another AMAZING day! I will wake up with a text message or phone call from my fabulous boyfriend of 4 months. He's going to tell me I'm amazing and that he's so happy to be with me. It's casual day at work so I'll don a favorite pair of jeans and fun new ballet flats and will drive to work where I'll have a productive day. My boyfriend and I will plan another fun weekend together and I'll make time in the afternoon to journal and read as the sun sets in the western skies. I'll lay my head on my pillow knowing I had a great day and was loving and giving to those around me. The more you give the more you get and I'm receiving SO MUCH! :)
