Carrie and Danielle: Body Brushing: Give Bad Karma the Brush Off!

    I'm so glad you wrote about this Caroline - I do dry-brushing a couple times a week and I love it. I've also heard that always brushing in strokes which move toward the heart (upwards from the feet, from the hands up to the shoulders, from the neck down, etc.) is helpful - or it could just be a ritual ;-)

    I dry-brush regularly too! I love it, there's something very satisfying about it, not to mention the fact that I know for a fact that it aids the lymphatic system - As a long-term sufferer of chronic illness, I can actually tell the difference it makes. Apparently brushing towards the heart stops you from going against the natural flow of your lymph, etc. You wouldn't want to work against your own body!

    Can you dry brush everyday? I was told to dry brush for 2 months and then take a break. How long until you can start dry brushing again?
