Carrie and Danielle: A Lithgow Palooza: Book Review

CS · 1 year agoWhat a lovely book. Creativity and imagination are critically important skills and must be taught and nurtured. Here is something to remember as you struggle through helping your child with his/her math homework: think how important it is to imagine and create new inventions in your head. An engineer's job is to take your ideas and turn them into real, practical products. But without the original idea, the engineer is just sitting there sharpening his/her pencil collection.

Karryn Ransom · 1 year agoTHAT is a perfect explanation. I will use that when Nic is frustrated by her upcoming grade one homework. Thank you!

Cheryl · 1 year agoKarryn - you have been born with a creative edge most of us could never dream to have and your willingness to nourish it in your children is so evident. Can't wait for a fairy house for our fairy garden when that time comes. It is so important to nurture the imagination in all of us but especially young children as one shall never be bored if she/he possess an acute imagination and a few things to create with. If John is another resource for new and different ideas - kudos to him! I have not read the book but this makes me want to do so.
