I would have thought a lot of these details like ringing for no reason, agreeing with everything, wearing things you don't like would actually drive a woman away.

Yes it might show affection but at the end of the day you want that affection to be shown in a way that resembles you still being a man and not a wimp!

Don't be an afterthought. I think that's the biggest thing here. B/C men can fake being interested in you, they can listen and ask a lot of questions. That's just great social skills. Making you laugh means listening to comedy tapes and learning to be funny more often than not. An afterthought, I assure you, cannot be faked. The worst thing is when it's already 8:30 on Friday evening and he calls. That is not a guy who is into you. He's a guy who has just finished happy hour and didn't find anything better to do.

I have been telling my daughter that for years. If a guy wants to be with you, he will call and NOTHING will get in the way of that, so don't make excuses about why you haven't heard from him. It's because... "He's just not that into you." The best social comment ever articulated!!

I agree with Roman Ross that guys should be careful in chosing their partner and secondly i don't think there are many guys who do all these things to show their love for their partner or gf.

We girls love attention so don't make a big deal if she likes your sweater or tolerates your calls.I'd suggest you look out for what SHE does for you!Buying you tiny gifts, introducing you to her friends, signs of jealousy when your attention is on someone else..stuff like that.You may easily become her 'toy' if you assume too much:) Believe me, girls usually can sense when a guy likes them and sometimes just play along.

This is funny because the average flat footed female would call this person a stalker. If he's into her like that but she's eyeing someone else, this guy is a sucker wasting his valuable time on a female who is reaping all the benefits without having to indulge any of his needs. Be careful guys, this could easily turn you from a nice guy to a real bad guy if she's just using you for her finicky emotional needs. I speak from experience. Keep your heart reserved until you are sure you are not just a "filler" between her need for a relationship and just somebody to "date"!
